Activities
Day 1
Arrive from Guwahati (Assam) to Kohima. Along the way, travel in and around Dimapur, the only plain area in Nagaland and a bustling town. Reach Kohima and explore the nearby areas to your homestay. If you have enough time left we can take you to explore nearby villages like Zakhama and Kigwema.
Day 2
Journey from Kohima to Khonoma, a proud ancient village know to have successfully resisted the British authority back in the day. Explore the village! Journey from Khonoma to Dzuleke. Return back to Kohima. If on this day you wish to stay back for night either in Khonoma or Dzuleke, you can do so.
Day 3
Journey and trek to Dzuko valley! Night stay at Dzuko valley. Explore the mesmerising views and greenery in the valley and sleep under the canopy of shooting stars!
Day 4
Trek back down the valley and return to Kohima. Explore in and around Kohima. Trip to Kohima museum and explore nearby villages like Zakhama and Kigwema, Viswema and more.
Day 5
Trek to Japffu peak, the second highest mountain peak in Nagaland. Explore the trail and mesmerising views from the top. Trek down the same day and stay in home stay in Kohima.
Day 6
Hike to Mt. Teyozwu nearby Kohima and Dzuko valley and come down the same day.
Day 7
Pack your bags to leave to Pfutsero in Phek district. Explore Pfutsero town, the Church and hike to Glory peak. Stay for the night at Pfutsero.
